About Crowdfunding Joe

Crowdfunding is exciting and kind of adventurous. You are backing an idea, you bring a product or a vision to life.

My STORY

When I first discovered a Crowdfunding project through a Facebook ad I had no idea, what crowdfunding actually is or how it works. But reading into it I got more and more fascinated and at one point obsessed with it. I was backing a lot of projects and as websites like Kickstarter and Indiegogo are more and more growing, it becomes more and more difficult to keep up to date with interesting projects.

What is the goal of this website?

Every day loads of new projects appear on websites like Kickstarter or Indiegogo. I want to help you find exciting projects which seems to be worth backing. Also, I like to follow along previous crowdfunding projects and have a closer look how they are received by the public and how they establish new brands on the market. Follow me along and discover new projects, products and gadgets which can help to make your life easier, more comfortable or simply more fun.
If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

All the best,

Crowdfunding Joe

  1. Hi Joe! You have the subject that is of great interest to me as well! Crowdfunding! And why the interest? The is a ‘YUGE’ market for crowdfunding around the globe! And what are these projects? Microgrids using solar panels, storage batteries, inverters etc. Working on a few potential projects in the Philippines with 4000 inhabited islands! I grew up in one of these islands. I have buddy who is now in the island of Catanduanes talking to the provincial decision makers to see how we can put up the first Microgrid of at least 1Megawatt!
A 1Megawatt (MW) solar system complete with storage batteries and some back-up generators will cost in the neighborhood of $2M dollars! The pay off is when the investors become the Power Producers/Power Distributors and collect monthly fees from the users of your electrical production!
One of the decision makers that we are talking to on the island is the lone district Congressman.
Now, here is a challenge for us to take on something that is way bigger than us. Let me know if you are interested!

Thanks and much luck and blessings to you at WA!

    • Hi Joe,

Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog and leaving a comment. Solar Energy is a great way to produce electricity out of natural resources without impacting the environment. It could be interesting for a motivated start-up to bring an innovation in this area to life through a crowdfunding campaign. If you or friends of you ever starting something like that, let me know and I will pick it up for my blog.
      Have a great time.
      Joe
